Auri Bori is an Aura Bora, Meggy Spletzer's partner, the sheriff of Port Aurora and the main deuteragonist of Sunset Paradise. In the penultimate episode, he sacrificed himself to save Meggy from the laser shot by Benedict at the top of the tower and later dies. In the final episode, he was revived thanks to the Phoenix Egg.

Sunset Paradise (Pilot Episode)[]
Auri Bori arrives while Meggy is getting ice cream and tells Aziz hello, and Aziz tells Auri to go away and that he is bothering people. Auri said that as island deputy, it was his duty to bother people. While Meggy asked if she could take her ice cream to go, Auri inspected the ice cream cart and noticed that it was leaking oil everywhere. Aziz tried brushing it off, claiming it was ice cream juice. Auri then found a squid in the cart, and Aziz tried brushing it off again, this time stating it was an ice cream squid and that’s how they made ice cream in the old country. Auri then pulled out a gun, and Aziz commented that ice cream was a very dangerous business. Auri wrote Aziz an infringement ticket and told him that he was forbidden to continue his business until they settled the infringements and then shut Aziz’s ice cream cart down. Meggy asked for her money back, and Aziz told her he doesn’t give refunds and advised her to blame the deputy. Meggy sarcastically thanked Auri for stopping the renegade ice cream man and asked him if there was a lot of crime on the island. Auri told Meggy that he probably went through a booklet of infringement tickets every day and introduced himself, at which point Meggy was gone.
